Thresholds are a centrefold...

Truth be told I'm rarely one for posters in my classroom, but I do know just the spot for this one. Fresh from the postie, it's great to finally have NSEAD's AD Mag in hand. The staples have been kind too; our threshold concepts are ripe for picking. Jon and I have really enjoyed kicking these about so hopefully we've found the balance between thought-provoking and eye-tickling.

The poster shares 10 possible concepts, each one hinting at a significant doorway to new awareness. You can read a more detailed introduction to these here, or, alternatively, watch this space: over the next 10 weeks we will politely slip our shoes off and dip toes over each one.

What's that you ask, how such delights? Well, the poster was produced in Adobe illustrator, taking the colours and shapes of our Photopedagogy camera graphic as a source of inspiration.

Like the concepts themselves, some of the graphics might be harder to unpick than others, but then hopefully that's part of the fun. (Yep, I need to get out more). So why not use photos? Well, it wasn't as if we didn't try. But these are slippery concepts; choosing one photo - or one photographer - proved a challenge too far. As it was, thankfully, copyright issues then forced hand to mouse anyway.

Use student's work?...Quotes?...Artist's work? Sod it, draw the little tinkers.
